The Friendship Pledge
Friendship is the greatest gift you can give and it costs nothing.
Psychosis is scary for those experiencing it and for those who love them. But, do you know what is scarier? The immense lack of compassion and support, ignorance, and complete disregard of a population that can be helped and can be treated. By choosing to care, you can change so many lives for young people, individuals who have spent years living in crisis, caretakers and families.
And in the process, you will change your own life too, because you will be a part of doing something people think is impossible. Moving mountains? That's easy peasy. We will find friends to help us spread information and resources and improve prevention, treatment, and support. Those mountains will move, the journey itself will be our light, and all of us will be better for it.
How can I be a friend?
By learning and by sharing with others to grow greater compassion and understanding in your communities. You can do this through your work or personal relationships.

Friends of Moa will provide key initiatives each year that provide education, materials, and will make it easy to be a friend. You can decide how much you can do and use these tools to spark progress in moving mountains.
Why is signing this pledge important?
We need as many people as possible to sign this pledge so we can show the world that people care and are making a commitment to creating positive change for people whose lives are affected by neurological disease and psychosis. We want to provide hope to individuals and families.

The truth is, moving mountains will require many people and we need your help!

How will my information be used?
We believe in maintaining privacy at the highest level. We will never use your full name, identifying information, or anything you share without your permission.

Moa stands for "mother of anonymous". Our goal is to have a place for all Moas where they can share and learn without judgment and protect the privacy of their loved ones. For us, confidentiality is a key value. We also believe the voice of Moa or the collective voice of what is shared by those closest to individuals living with psychosis, can provide invaluable insight, clues, and ideas.
